A Bus segment means a physical connection from the Busmaster to a fieldbus system (eBus / Modbus). Normally this is a serial interface (COM1, COM2, …) or a tcp address. In the Busmaster-website, the Bus segments are associated logical to a Location. The Expert mode in a Bus segment for example allows to run a Firmware-Update for eBus devices.
You can find Bus devices with the selection of the respective Bus segment.
After select a Location, the configuration-website lists the already defined Bus segments. With the button , you can see further information of status and version.
